What to wear to your photo session

If you are having trouble putting together an outfit for your shoot, it is better to think of the overall theme and idea you have for your photos. Pick colors that complement each other, match a little, and coordinate together. Neutral colors look good all the time and also complement other stronger colors.

For example, for beach photography people like to wear white, which is a cool color, comes alive in photos, and looks fresh. For beach photography for women, coordinate an outfit that complements your body shape, and looks "flowy". 

For family photography everyone can match, but everyone does not need to be wearing the same color. You can have children wear something fun that has more than one color and the parents can wear outfits that complement the colors of the child's outfit. 

In maternity photos not everyone feels comfortable or wants to wear small clothing that shows their belly which is fine. You can wear something in accordance with the environment, and have props like hats, signs, flowers, sashes, etc. to complement the outfit and make it more unique to your style. 

For children's photography don't be afraid to have personal props like family bracelets, the child's favorite shoes, their favorite outfit, or even their favorite item. This will bring out the child's personality, make the shoot easier, and you will have unique photos that will create a memory in your house.

Teenagers have a very clear vision of the theme or the idea of what they want. Depending on the occasion they will choose an outfit that they feel comfortable, brings out their personality, and gives them confidence.

Depending on the occasion sometimes everyone will wear the same color. Keep in mind that certain colors on certain people tend to look washed out in photos. Just take a quick phone photo to make sure it translates well.
